What is the best phase in a person’s life???
An interlude when ecstasy and frolic is rife
Full of zip n zeal n zest
With jubilation and glee at its best
Without a tinge of doubt it is ‘teenage’
With episodes of sorrow, of elation and rage
A helluva time when we even dare to gobble up d sun
To cherish what is known and gear up to learn
For some its ‘learning, expertise and acumen’
For others its infatuation n love---‘just like heaven’
For me its time to go ahead, break free, shrug off d conventions
Catch hold of d baton and invoke d nation
It’s time for the YOUTH, d ‘potential personified’
The magnanimous ones to stand for their rights
Wake up friends it is high time
Work for your motherland!! Don’t juz lime…
Men and makers did play their part
Brought for their motherland with their skill n art
A valued status in the hallowed portals
Of this global scenario but there’s more to come
Let us hereby take an oath
